Homemade burger with the meat mincer and air fryer

Ingredients
- Burger buns5 pcs
- Lean beef500 g
- Butter70 g
- Ground dried onion50 g
- Water200 ml
- Pickled cucumber1 pc
- English mustard0.5 tbsp
- Ketchupto taste
- Saltto taste
- Ground black pepperto taste
- Cheese (for a cheeseburger)optional
Method
- Cover the dried onion with a glass of cold water and leave for at least 3 hours (an hour will do), or pour boiling water over it so it rehydrates faster.
- Mince the lean beef together with the butter; if the mince comes out coarse, put it through again. Do not add onion, bread or milk to the mince.
- Divide the mince into five thin patties to fit the buns.
- Cook the patties in the air fryer at 180 °C for 7 minutes on each side.
- Slice the pickle into thin rounds and drain the remaining water from the rehydrated onion.
- Halve the buns and toast them cut side down over medium heat until lightly golden.
- Spread mustard and ketchup on the upturned top half, add a pinch of onion and 2–3 pickle slices (plus a slice of cheese for a cheeseburger), top with a patty and the bottom half, then flip over and serve.
