HAUSMANN Air fryers
Why an air fryer cooks faster than an oven
An air fryer cooks about twice as fast as an oven thanks to intense convection, a quick start, a smaller chamber and efficient energy use.
Why an air fryer is faster than an oven
- Convection: a powerful fan circulates hot air around the food, spreading heat evenly and speeding up cooking. Convection in an oven is usually less intense.
- Quick start: an air fryer is always ready to go, while an oven often has to be cleared of the pots and pans stored inside it first.
- Smaller volume: the air fryer's chamber needs less time to heat up and hold the right temperature.
- Energy savings: heat is concentrated in a smaller space and the air circulation is efficient, so it uses energy more economically than a large oven.
