How to cook shrimp in the air fryer
Shrimp cook very quickly in an air fryer — 7–10 minutes at 180–190 °C. Marinate them, spread them in a single layer and serve right away.
Tips for cooking shrimp
- Don't overcook them: shrimp cook very fast — 7–10 minutes at 180–190 °C is enough
- Marinade = flavor: add olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and a few spices (paprika, chili) — the shrimp will be fragrant and juicy
- Don't overload the basket: spread the shrimp in a single layer so they cook evenly
- Add herbs after cooking: parsley, cilantro or dill bring out the flavor and brighten the dish
- Serve right away: shrimp are at their best when hot — serve them with lemon wedges or a light sauce
