Ingredients

  • Wheat flour250–260 g
  • Yeast1 tsp
  • Milk50–60 ml
  • Egg1 pc
  • Butter40 g
  • Sugar2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Raisinsto taste

Method

  1. Mix the flour and yeast. Add the melted butter and the egg.
  2. Add salt and sugar, pour in the milk and knead an elastic dough that doesn’t stick to your hands (you may need a little more or less flour or milk).
  3. Leave the dough to rise for 1.5–2 hours.
  4. Prepare the fillings (any you like). Divide the risen dough into 3 equal parts.
  5. Roll each part out thinly, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Add the fillings and stack the layers: raisins on the bottom, walnuts in the middle, dried apricots and prunes on top.
  6. Roll the stack into a log and cut it into slices about 1.5–2 cm thick.
  7. Arrange the buns in the air fryer basket lined with baking paper and sprinkle with sugar.
  8. Leave to rise again for about 45–60 minutes.
  9. Bake in the preheated air fryer at 150 °C until golden, about 20 minutes.
